Varpet is a truly artsy and distinctive spot with a cozy atmosphere. The beautiful garden and preserved Soviet-era furniture create a warm, home-like feeling, and I really appreciate that they kept the building mostly unchanged, even the old chandelier adds to its unique charm. The staff is welcoming and creative, sometimes even preparing custom cocktails, and the drinks are reasonably priced. On weekends, they host live jazz sessions with local artists with no entrance fee, as well as DJs, giving the place a lively yet laid-back energy.
A genuine, character-filled venue with great music, food, and drinks. The backyard is especially perfect for relaxed summer evenings, and overall the space feels authentic, artistic, and full of life.

Came on a Friday night to listen to jazz—the place was full, but in a lively, good way, not overwhelming. The music was great, really solid jazz and a fun atmosphere overall.
Big plus: no entrance fee and no pressure to order, which honestly makes it feel much more relaxed and welcoming. Lots of young people, a very social crowd, and a great outdoor area if you want to step out, chill, and still be part of the vibe.
The decor is super interesting—kind of Soviet/retro but done tastefully, not over the top. It gives the place a lot of character.
Overall, a great hangout spot whether you want to have a drink, listen to music, socialize, or just sit back and take it all in.

Great place to have a drink with friends, we sat on the cozy terrace. There was some nice live music for a bit. Drinks were good, close to European prices, pornstar martini was great! They don’t have local beers though, or Coca Cola or Pepsi. Definitely recommend!

This artsy spot is a rare gem in Yerevan! The modern space and beautiful garden create a stylish yet cozy vibe.
The staff is always welcoming and even makes custom cocktails. Unlike many bars, the drinks here match their price and quality. Their breakfast is delicious—especially the tomato omelette!
The best part? Live jazz weekends with top local artists, completely free—no entrance fee!
A warm, authentic place with great music, food, and drinks. Highly recommended!

I am in Varpet everyday and so I can tell that this is the place with the coziest atmosphere.
The staff is very friendly and caring. Most reccomended.❤️
